Yo RD, you have two pairs, when you going to post? LOL I think the new direction of tuning at Audeze is good, but of course nothing is perfect. All of our ears are different and I think they've allowed us enough room to tune to our tastes. And the value is.. Nobody is going to top this system at $2500 IMO. My LCD-i4 retails at the same price and the LCD-R is a new ballgame. Susvara is going to need a replacement.

And no hands of God have been touched here either, but it is closer to what I expect for a 1K+ headphone.

Value and $2,500? Then I guess Mercedes S-Class is an amazing value as well.

Jotenheim-R is $799.00, leaves $1,700 for headphone. That is cheaper than a new LCD-3. Value is a funny word in our hobby.
