Zu Dirty Weekends had something special, I get why people like Zu, but narrow sweet spot and only truly fantastic for acoustic stuff. LS50 Meta+KC62 subwoofer...almost fantastic. Just a bit soulless and I hate subs. Ohm Walsh...meh. Omni effect really great and handy for multiuse space, but flat stage/wall of sound, boomy brittle bass, mid suckout when trying to control bass.

If I owned Klipsch, it would be Fortes IV's. Most of the time Klipsch's can be V-shaped, but these look damn good.

I have to give props to Upscale Audio, holy cow have I enjoyed working with them on ordering these. Spent lots of time on the phone chatting my room, why previous things like the Ohms have not worked, things I may need to tweak with the room. Got really granular into details of my space/gear/listening to make sure the Forte IVs should be a good fit. Very excited.

Horns keep things under control a bit with early reflections, although it is also what gives them the direct and up front sound. The new horns with the mumps is really cool technology. Similar to the JBL "creases."

If I had the space, I would give these or the Cornwalls a try. Good luck with em! Which color combo did you go with?

Forte has been the best sounding Klipsch model for a while now. Great choice.

@rlow I opted to go for the Walnut and added the white lambswool grills. Really all the finishes could have worked in my space, a tough call. If the oak was a bit less weathered I would have had to go that route, too matchy with my current floors though. I have mix of oak/walnut in the space. Music Hall 9.3 on order will be walnut.
