IMO- it's between Mjolnir2 balanced with NOS tubes vs. Jotunheim SS. fed via the balanced DAC of yer choice. Gungnir Multibit?

Heh, can't go wrong with that recommendation! But I'm looking for a secondary desktop amp, not a full system overhaul. Though the Jotun's feature set puts it in an optimal position should I eventually opt to shell out for a balanced DAC.
