I imagine they'll be a bit drier and more energetic than the Jupiter's that some put in there, which by contrast have a reputation for being a bit relaxed and warm.
Thanks! That was my thought too. Dry and energetic is what I'm shooting for. I know the TFTF have a rep for weird tone but I think the CuTF less so? Seem to be popular for the Elekits.
Yeah, I haven't heard the cutf myself in any build, but they are known for being really transparent and sort of sounding just like whatever the equipment is that they're in. Supposedly they're the cap that just gets "out of the way". So I don't think they'll have too weird a tone unless the transformers and circuitry does.
Not sure if vcap ODAM will fit in aficionado (depending on what uf you need). I find them exceptional in my Bottlehead Mainline. Oodles of clarity and resolution. Not warm, or bright, just super transparent. They did take 150 plus hours to settle however.
