What are you installing? I’m upgrading piecemeal. Installed JL Audio front 6x9’s, tweeters and dynamat earlier this year. Still want to do amp, dsp and rear speakers in the future.

@DigMe Focal Utopia 165 W-XP 2-way speakers, Audison Bit Ten DSP, Audison 5.600 amp, Alpine headunit (with Apple and Android, navigation) sound deadening materials + new pillars to accommodate the speakers. Car is a 90's Lancer Evo. This is my first foray into car audio, so I generally let the tuner recommend the components based on experience, with my only condition being the Focal speakers and the headunit.

Just be prepared you will get absolutely nothing in resale value. Yet, enjoy while you own the car.

Cool. I looked at Focal but none of their 6x9 speakers were shallow enough to fit in my doors and I was installing myself so I didn’t really want to get too complicated with modding and whatnot.

please make a thread (if there isnt one already) on your findings when you get your car setup. people, including myself, would love to hear abt it
