    Yea, my friends and I have observed the same. Moving Roon core to a good Linux machine apparently helps it to pull ahead.

    I have a NUC with ROCK OS. May be I can try Gentoo Player. NUC is powered by the stock power supply though not sure if it matters.

    Wasn’t it Audirvana where some people here found that it actually alters/filters the audio data without telling the user? Not sure if it was Audirvana or another of the audiophile players.

    I guess the newer version, Audirvana Studio, modified some metadata but not the audio data. However they put some fix for it and there is a toggle switch now.

    Are you using USB directly off your NUC? If so, the stock power supply could be holding you back.
