Proceeding down the rabbit hole now. Ordered a MMCX mod kit from an Etsy seller. Anybody got a reco for a cheap portable source they feel synergizes well w/the KSC75?

My cheap pick would be the Fiio M6. Sounds good despite Sabre IMO.

I thought the roll off of the shangling m0 was a nice compliment to the treble on the kcs75

Ksc75 on a walk sound insanely good. Don't mmcx mod it though, it ruins clarity. Part of the reason the ksc75 sounds so good is voice coil is soldered right to the headphone cable.

No 3.5mm on your phone? Anything iFi (mostly warmish) would likely go well. Purr1n didn't like the Go Link but I didn't mind it. Also Helm Bolt I'd imagine. Yaxi pads and a headband did them favours for me, a bit of bass (& treble) reinforcement and extra stability when mobile.

No, the phone is a 3.5mm-less Apple phone :( Thx for the other ideas!
