My Milwaukee bits break on hard maple after less than ten screws with proper pilot holes. My Titan bits do better. I can get over 1000 screws on hardwood with a Wera bit.
I just recently bought into the Dewalt ecosystem. Haven't invested into the driver bits yet. I do have the Wera Tool Check which is a nice compact kit; maybe I'll look into their impaktor set. Who do you recommend for drill bits?
Nothing special on my normal drill bits: dewalt titanium nitride and a black oxide set. Never have needed anything nicer for them. There are better. Router bits: solid carbide Frued bits are really nice. Hole saw: Milwaukee works well (but haven’t tried others). Concrete SDS: Hilti or German made Milwaukee/ Bosch. Large bits: Irwin speedbore. Forstner bits: not a huge fan of my Amana, but they are okay.
Milwaukee’s Best is very drinkable (but not the Lite, and *definitely* not the Ice versions). It’s on par with Pabst, but much less sweet and also less full-bodied. Their standard 15-pack of cans is cheap as sin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snhiofL2Rh4
