So chicken soup it is?

Is it really influenza, or just a bad cold?

I've got aches in all my joints, a moderate fever, can barely keep down soup, major respiratory symptoms. If it's a cold, it's one for the record books. My GP thinks it's the flu and wore the mask to be safe. Anyway, yeah, chicken soup and crossing my fingers that I can at least work from home tomorrow.

Honestly, I'm going to be drugged to the gills tomorrow to try to work through it. I don't want to waste my vacation days. Unless I can't keep down soup, then I'll have to consider the hospital, but I'm feeling less nauseous now. Now it's time to hibernate again.

Vacation days? Wouldn't those be sick days?

@shipsupt - No idea what the new policy is, need to check the new HR portal. I bet the answer is that there are sick days, but they're probably hidden.

Either way, feel better! I've been fighting a stomach bug for almost a week now myself... NO FUN!
