Tripplite, furman and emotiva are all solid bets

I picked up the Emotiva Cxm-2 to help with my power amp's ground-loop hum. Worked like a charm, blackground to the max.

I seem to recall Brickwall being fairly popular with audiophiles. Does the Emotiva have surge protection? I thought it was just a conditioner.

Don't think so, but emotiva has recommended plugging it into a surge protector in the past, and I've been doing that with no issues.

How many outlets do you need?

I would try to avoid anything with MOVs, chokes, and isolation transformers if you want a conditioner that doesn't affect sound quality. Computer-focused power products have great outside noise reduction, but typically do nothing about noise generated by the components themselves.

Ideally, 6 to 8 outlets. After reading the thread Dino linked to, I'm considering the Emotive CMX 6 plugged into a Tripplite Isobar.
