Almost 2,000 people died as a result of Katrina. I truly hope that this isn't the case in Puerto Rico!! Supposedly there are 10,000 containers of supplies waiting to go out but few truck drivers to move them.

Official numbers are pretty low, bear in mind that there's no access to some places still. But I doubt we reach those numbers (hopefully we won't!) Now, as you say, what can go wrong is people going crazy because they can't get their hands on food or supply! We'll see how stuff develops. I would prefer to militarize things but oh well...

I really hope things get moving along quickly. I don't know about militarizing but it would probably help if they just sent a bunch of national guard over there to do the district. I know the have plenty of truck drivers in the military.
