You know I can never say despite my age I have ever had a bad experience at Disneyland. Glad you and the kids had a great time.

Disney great for that age. When they get older, do the Studio tours. Most people go to Universal. But don't forget Warner, Sony, etc. The Warner one is a really good one where you see more of the behind the scenes stuff.

Took the family on a California run some time ago. We went to Disneyland along with Universal. Spent time in LA/Hollywood then took PCH to San Francisco. Great time

My family went all the time when we were kids and loved it. Parents dragged siblings and I back when we were in high school / college. I was filled with bad feelings and "evil empire" blah blah, but it was still so awesome (and we were sober).

Heck I'm in my thirties and I still longed to be in Disneyland someday.

It was my first time. My 5yr old was slack-jawed the whole time. We got there at 8am and left at 1am. It's really amazing.

So glad you and your children enjoyed it. If you liked that, you have to try Disney World in FL. I'm a bit of a nut myself. I grew up in FL with a Disney nut for a father, so I have been every year of my life at least once since 6mo old. I still make an annual pilgrimage there (and to see my parents). I love playing tour guide for friends who have never been or haven't been since childhood.

Did you go on It's a Small World?

We did. Last one for the night as a family! It was the holiday version so not sure how it compares to normal.
