Its one I built using a TI opa1622evm board. It’s an opamp based design, but sounds good enough that I sold my Magni2U. I used the eval kit board because the 1622 is tiny tiny tiny and not available in dip8.

    Edit: spelling

Nice! did you use the Schitt power brick?

I've got my parts with the exception of a cap that must have went backorder between ordering and shipping. I also need to find an appropriate AC wall wart or transformer (trying to resist ordering it new).

They should call that the Schitta Brick.

I'm using a Hammond BPD2F that I already had laying around.

Hate to be that guy, but could you help me update this BOM? I am not certain enough in my own competence to find fitting replacements.

You just need to use Mouser. It might be best to have two screens, one with my BOM and then you can click the product that is not available, and it lists the parameters. Go up at the top to the category, use the filters to filter down to the part you need.

For instance, on the first part that is not-available, I clicked on the category of Thick Film Resistors - SMD, used the filters for - 4.75 Ohms, 125mW Power Ratiging, hit the check box for In Stock, and two came up. Both Yageo resistors. One quick look at the Datasheets and it tells me one is for automotive, the other for general purpose. Pick the general purpose one, then move down to the next one in the list.

The only other thing is that some I picked may be a different packaging method (cut cape, reel, etc.) So, find the one in stock and go from there. Use the datasheets to your advantage to find the parts you need.

One of the Toshiba BJT's is now obsolete and discontinued. However, it appears the newer similar part that Mouser suggests should work fine.

The biggest shortage is in electrolytic capacitors. Because those go in pretty much everything. I have had to go to other brands (Rubycon, TDK, Kemet, etc.) outside the more popular Nichicon, Panasonic, Elna, etc. for some other recent builds and repairs. The main thing is just get the spec (capacitance, voltage rating, size, spacing) that is required, and you should be fine for what is in stock.

If you really need assistance, someone from Mouser might be able to help find substitutions for you.
