    Yes.

A few people have actually sent units to me so I could assess their midichlorian count. It's been a while now. There are a few members with Grade A rev 2 LCD2s and they seem happy; but otherwise the LCD type headphones don't seem to be the rage anymore.

The last LCD-2 I heard was over a year ago. I don't remember if it was fazor or not, but @Bill-P, modder extraordinaire, hung his head in shame when he compared his modded LCD-2 to the unicorn edition LCD-2. I'll need to bring the Changstar archive back online so you read about it. One is much better off with a HD650 than a Grade B or Grade C LCD-2. There are a few members who ditched their poor Grade LCD headphones in favor of the HD650.

Yeah, I don't think I could have made the LCD-2 better at that time. I may know a thing or two that can be done to the housing now to mitigate the cloudiness, but the bass slowness/stickiness/congestion issue will still persist unless you spend some time "cooking" the driver to tighten up the diaphragm again, and even then, I don't think it'll help turn it into anything like Craig's LCD-2... This one is definitely not "usual" by any standard.

Now, if only @Koth Ganesh would send that LCD-2 back to me so I can try a few new things to make it suck less. :p

Any chance there will be a "unicorn" LCD-2.2c (i.e. pre-fazor) unit at the meet in LA?

Would be interesting to see how my 2.2c compare ... especially given how close they come to my LCD-4 ...

Dude: you are going to "cook" the drivers as well right? Just use vegetable stock as I am a vegetarian :D
