Yes it is, but I'm only willing to trade it for a Liquid Crimson (+ $1000) because I think that might be the only way I will ever get a Liquid Crimson.

I added my second og Liquid Gold serial #0000 hand built by Alex Cavalli. The only one of its kind.

And I added a RAAL PTD-1a and 2 ortho iems.

I need the funds from these amps so I dropped the price of the 2 og Liquid Gold's by $300 and the other amps by $100.

 

Even truer now. I mean, there's a bunch of insane prices here but someone buy this for the love of god.

They're totally different designs being solid state and 300b tube amps. But the Beta 22 is a real sleeper. People don't remember what a good amp it is. It's one of the best solid state amps ever made. It's got some of the best tone of any solid state amp I've ever heard, very natural with no glare or flatness or hardness or etch like many solid state amps. And it's very powerful.

I'm not sure you could do better than the Beta 22 for solid state. It sure beats the dull dry BHA-1.

So it's a very different amp, but a good one if you want solid state.

The only thing about the Beta 22 (all of them, not just mine) is that you have to turn the volume down all the way when unplugging or plugging in headphones or you risk blowing something. it's a good practice to have anyways, as it's never a good thing to plug in or unplug phones with the volume turned up. But the Beta 22 is more sensitive than other amps to this.

You just get in the habit though and it's not a big deal.

Bump. I lowered the prices quite a bit on the Line Magnetic Mini, Hagerman Tuba and the RAAL PTD-1a. All are at bargain prices now. and bump for the awesome @uniqusrname modded Elekit 8200. someone needs to buy this amp, it's a gem.

 

These amps and iems are back up for sale. With lower prices on everything but the elekit, which is already a steal!
