Bought this from @sphinxvc . Not my cup of tea, so looking to move it to someone who can appreciate it!

$275 with shipping and PayPal included.

I'm surprised this is moving, but hopefully it goes to someone @ SBAF. GLWS.

About where I feel GP fits in the continuum -- it eats Schiit preamps (and just most preamps) for breakfast, unless your system's gain structure is off or you need impedance handled. Your options to do better are autoformers at several times the cost and thin gains.

Yep, I saw comments about how this thins things out and makes them lifeless. I 100% disagree. Maybe it's an impedance thing, but the 4 or 5 sources I've tried with it sound transparent (and better overall than the JBL Nano Patch+).

I sometimes think I have lead ears. I have 4 goldpoint units (had 5 until recently) and never heard anything from them, objectionable or otherwise.

    GLWS, great price.

f**k it. I'll take it. Would be nice to have something that has a chassis and isn't DIY.

Too often nice casework gets a bad rap IMO.

It should be noted that this is the cheaper 24-step version of the SA1X - just for future reference. (Source: @sphinxvc actually offered this to me earlier, but I decided to go with @ogodei's sa1x-47 instead, at higher cost)

Oh f**k me. I thought this was the 47 step. I'm using a DIY 47 step right now. Oh well, hah.

If you change your mind and want a way out, I"ll take it at 24 steps.

I mean, yes if you're down and @Cellist88 hasn't already shipped but I don't want to leave him in the lurch. I'm still committed unless he's open to it.

The 24-step may actually work out just fine, depending on how much attenuation you need. The attenuation steps are not the same, with steps initially starting off big then leveling out at a consistent 2db:

The 47-step is 1.5db increments down to 0.

Good deal. I was aiming for a Khozmo anyway since that is my normal go-to. Just looking to save some bucks and maybe help out. Khozmo has a wireless remote option that is pretty cool and they start at 48 steps.
