Hey tonewood when utilized for acoustical duty are not supposed to be heavy! Like on guitars, thin and... Oh wait, he meant that wood. English is hard.

No, they've changed their magnetic circuit in just about every model. They developed the Fazer. They developed variable width diaphragm traces to even out drive power over the surface of the diaphragm. One might argue that none of that did much to improve the sound, but at least they're trying something.

cue for a vintage school-boy joke...

How did the mathematician cure his constipation?

He worked it out using logs.

    Altogether now.... Groan!

That's true, but also every time they make a change they add $1000 to the price of the product (quite literally) which puts it farther away from what people can afford.

For example, when apple improves their iphone, they more or less keep it the same price each generation.

I tried uploading the .gif you had on HF, but it didn't work. I felt this one fit our new theme the best. Besides, some people are totally threatened by cute stuff.

I think Audeze has made me seriously question the "trickle down" technology idea.

I wonder if it has anything to do with Alex leaving?

The way the main UCLA athletic teams are playing at the moment, the pic couldn't be more appropriate.
