Judging by the recent number of dislikes Mr Merrick has given that paranoid, obsessed, self-righteous prick known as the sparrow, I’m starting to think Mr Merrick has almost as much affection for that avian creature as Kunlun does.

 

As someone who has no idea what the hell has ever happened between the two of you, I'm not even going to speculate or comment.

There is simply no good reason to believe this.

We have met many manufacturer reps over our time in this hobby. We have no issue maintaining connections with these individuals but still being critical of their products. For those senior members that have talked to Ken, we know him to be an honest and humble guy well worth doing business with. We have met many such folks in the industry who would meet or even surpass our "cool guy" standards. The ones whose products we could readily recommend as awesome sauce is simply a much smaller list. That's just part of how we do things.

So please do not project your weak will and inclination toward bias upon those who are striving for better.

@music_4321 does makes some astute observations about headphones along the way, but he also needs more restraint when it comes to this infactuation with @Kunlun.

 

I think it's healthy to have a gadfly in the mix. But it's incumbent on the gadfly to not be so predictable that they become easily dismissable.
