Loaner: Decware Zen Taboo mkIV headphone/speaker amp

Taboo landed yesterday safe and sound - thanks @Inoculator! I think I have a sturdy outer box the right size for when I send it on.

 

Wrapping up my time with the Taboo, I'll have it off tomorrow to @dubharmonic. I've appreciated the time with this classic amp!

Does anyone have contact with @dubharmonic ? He PM'd me Sunday with a UPS tracking link. UPS still shows label created and nothing more. I PM'd him asking for details/verification of the situation but have not heard back.

 

Sorry, just had some missed connections with UPS pickup. The box hasn't been lost, it's coming soon.

 

Eagle has landed. Haven't opened it yet but outer box is un-damaged so there should be wonderful things inside

No documentation came with the loaner and I don’t see any on the decware website. Is there something that tells us how to use properly? Particularly the 4 sets of toggle switches.

 

Thanks! Turns out my issue wasn’t the switches but somehow removing and reinstalling the rectifier tube solved it, maybe it wasn’t seated far enough… dunno. Working now

 

I would love a try at this one, i actually just recieved a taboo with all the mods except xlr inputs. I was told by Decware the xlr mod helps both xlr and se inputs. It would be good to see if it is worth it before sending mine in.
I have a 2.2pf, 24, Atrium, and Senns pending a balanced cable.
