there is not one review on this darned thing. i am considering ordering it because i owned the MKII and it had tank like built with surprisingly quality components and very stable. i ran it with both KT88 and KT120 and it sounded decent enought with both. this time i am dead set on EL34 as i want tubey to the max. but before i pull the trigger sight unseen and sound unheard, id take really any insight or advice. also I see that the forum is called power amp but there is no place to integrateds so basically you are asking for it.

i spent all this morning in a good old brick and mortar store auditioning Line Magnetic and Hegel. they are gonna let me home audition one amp next weekend. it made me more firm on EL34 and i had a great time chatting with the guy. who knew but allentown PA has an awesome record store that has many rare and awesome LPs. i was a little taken aback by some of the records. they had a bunch of awesome and rare punk records.

So if the redacted posts are anything even remotely interesting, I'm personally holding that against you, @restrav3. I mean, dude, someone asked you nicely (by standards here) to introduce yourself, now you're playing high and mighty about not sharing impressions, which could be useful if we knew where you were coming from and what your tastes are (which we would know if you posted an introduction) like some kid that gets a new toy from their parents, brags about it in a schoolyard, then never even brings it to school, raising doubts about whether you even have one of these or not.

Also, what the flip is with (emphasis mine)?:
The fact that you're spotting a Thom Yorke face in your avvie makes it worse. I fucking love Radiohead, dammit, and you're ruining it for me.

Incidentally, I'm also gonna say that I'm a huge Panic! At the Disco, Fall Out Boy, and My Chemical Romance fan, and I'm not saying that just to mess with @Cspirou :)

i did introduce myself in the appropriate topic after i saw the post. the redacted posts were me going on various tangents in my search to find some amps for my speakers and sources.

I see it now. My apologies, I assumed after your three consecutive blanked out posts (will admit curiosity as to what the contents were and why you redacted them), followed by your pedantically stating that you wouldn't report on your findings, that you were throwing something of a tantrum. It happens a few times after people are asked to introduce themselves, pardon the knee-jerk response.

But really, this is a decently priced amp. I'd be curious to hear about how it compares to the others in your inventory.

ill be ok with moderators bringing those posts back just so that it can be verified that there was no animosity towards @Elnrik or anyone else really in them. the redacted posts contained mentions of other models in the same price range, not much a tantrum but a decision to limit my activity in audiophile forums to one or two. probably diyaudio and headfi as i need them the most.

I took no offense to anything you posted.*

I was simply pointing out that there are protocols for new members, one of which is introducing yourself in the appropriate thread.

I must say, you definitely seem to be in your own little world in this corner of the forum.

    Have a good day.

    * Because I did not read anything you posted.

No one had experience with the amp so you're sulking?

Serious question, how did you convince your parents to buy you an amp? Cuz I'd like another set of speakers but don't have the money. If I cried really loud, would they have pity on me and just cave? I really want those speakers...

I didnt know about this new MP amp. Surprised it runs 4 KT88s class AB and can only muster 25 w per channel.
I wd have imagined double that or more.
