    Gonna have to disagree with you on that one, unless you're talking about a modded PM-2. :p

    It's OK, though. Are you using the stock pads on the PM-2? I think that's the weakest part of them. The stock pads to me made the treble simultaneously etched and too dark sounding. I like the velours or original pleathers from the PM-1 on it.

    Well, it's been a long time since I sold HD650s so maybe my mind is playing tricks on me but the mid focused sound and laid-back nature is similar to HD650 in my opinion. I have the stock pads now but ordered original PM-1 leather pads. I bought PM-2s for a very good price, $500 only. The previous owner only used them for 5-6 hours and sold them because he also has PM-1s. I like the sound so far but I think PM-1 original leather pads will make it better.
