    I will just add that tubes can comfortably amplify radiofrequencies, so they are not slow.

    And then there are the head-scratchers. The early Naim amplifiers scored well on PRaT with a topology and component selection that give absolutely no indication that they should.

    What was I referring is the immediacy of percussive instruments, think of it like the speed of HD600 vs Elex but now I want to applicate it to all-tube vs SS or hybrid amps.

    It seems transistors do indeed have the edge here.
