Did you mean the X250? The XA200.5 and XA200.8 (there was no XA250) are different beasts from the X250 amps. Not to say that they aren't all amazing amps, because they are. But that would be pretty amazing if you could get xa200.8 performance for literally less than 1/100th of the cost. The XA200.8 are $42k usd / pair I think. (They're monoblocks)

What's interesting is that it has both A and B stickers. When Schiit upgrades from Analog v1 to v2, do they just slap the new sticker beside the old one?

 

Just peered around the back. Apparently yes, they do.

It is vertical though, not beside the other sticker.

 

Maybe he forgot to list it as A2, or listed it as A1 by accident then noticed his mistake. As for the sticker, I doubt he put a fake one on the back...and maybe it's missing the GEN5 USB sticker because he opted for the upgrade board as a separate purchase as opposed to sending it in. As for the sticker being horizontally placed instead vertically... thats probably just what the technician decided to do for this particular unit...

 

How many people that did the Gen 5 upgrade themselves put a sticker on afterwards?

 

Probably everyone except this guy it seems lol. I'm assuming schiit sent a sticker with any board purchase?
