WTB: Schiit LISST tubes (9-pin Noval version)

This is probably another kind of longshot request, but if anyone has a pair of LISST tubes (9-pin Noval version) that is collecting dust/willing to part with and wants to sell, please let me know. (I already asked Schiit Support if I could use the latest available octal version with an adapter, but that was definitely a no go.)

They did - it was intended for the Mjolnir 2 originally (as well as the Lyr2). But I believe when MJ2 / Lyr2 went OOP, the 9-pin LISST kind of went with it.

That is what prompted me to ask Schiit support about using the Octal version on the MJ2 with a tube adapter, but they told me not to do it - that the Octals were specifically made for the LYR3/Freya+/Saga+. Oddly, they told me they were still trying to get parts to make more of the Noval version, but very difficult to source (whatever they use in these tubes). I also wondered why they would try to make more of these.....unless there is some crazy gear they are developing that uses 9-pin tubes in the coming future?

I know this is a long shot, but I'd split a 4 pack of these with you if the opportunity arises.

I appreciate it though. Believe me, as a tube roller who loved to push the bounds with adapters, it was the first thing that came to mind.

You might ask if they'd be willing to split out the LISST separately.

 

Already did that too about a week ago. The seller doesn't plan to separate anything right now, but did say that if it doesn't sell, he would consider my request.

 

That poor guy... I messaged him a few days ago about a separate sale of his LISST and he told me the same thing. Kicking myself for not jumping on a pair I found a few months ago but they were about 4 hours away and bundled with a Lyr I didn't really need.

That's interesting news about the possibility of a new production run if they can get the parts. Good luck with your search!
