The impression I'm getting is that its close to the performance of the A2 with the nice engaging timbre of those old PCM chips. If that's the case, count me in.

LIM is supremely great but wasn't for me. Fabulously happy with A2. It does what I want music to do, tho at times I think about putting the A1 cards back in for a little because they are devilishly incisive and I enjoyed that for video games and movies because it was so visceral.

Choosing Yggdrasil flavors is hard. I might end up with all 3 cards some day lol. A1 has incisiveness and nice air, A2 is rich and grand, LIM is clear and consistent.

Thinking of changing my Lim upgrade order to A2. Waiting for 3 months now and likely gonna be a lot longer still. I like chocolate cake.

I have been a Big Thief fan since their debut so I am a bit biased, but I cannot stop listening to the new album. For sure occasionally a bit listless and raw, but just draws me in.

i really like how disjointed it seems. I mean the course of musical styles they touch is just amazing. it reminds me of why i fell in love with Broken Social Scene.

Amazing how many high ohm or power hungry headphones sound very nice out of the RU6. The good synergy goes far beyond what the designers intended.

This is why I prefer the older units where the pot didn't move when you used the remote, because one click was one click on the ladder. Refreshing after fighting the motorized pot on my old Parasound preamp. Turn it up and down and hope when it stops it lands on the right volume.

I sometimes can get one click if I'm really quick. I was the shit in CS. But yeah the remote needs work. Maybe we can work something out with one of those Harmony remotes. They usually have options for hold and press once iirc.

YES! I think to do this would require a firmware upgrade, but my goodness. My Emotiva was the exact opposite. Had to hold the volume down forever. Freya is like a supercar takeoff.
