All these decades later and The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars is still one of the greatest rock records ever released. It’s a testament to Bowie’s genius that he’s known for more than solely this record. There’s a mystique this album possesses that never fully fades no matter how many times I play it.

Heard this terrific John Schofield cut 3-4X at NYC CanJam today--now I'll just have to buy it. BTW, "Camelus" sounded quite amazing on the Meze Empyrean Elite.

I love this guy, have for years. Recently have been following his amazing collaboration with Scary Pockets and Larry Goldings...and saw him live at the Blue Note/NYC just a couple months before we all shut down in early 2020.

He's equally adept in trad jazz setting and jam/funk settings. A great talent.

 

Just more of the same, but there's comfort in repetition.

 

I am so happy I stumbled onto the To The Grave album a few weeks back, this is honestly one of the best death core albums ive ever heard

 

I recently came across this one & was drawn in... Bob Reynolds "Down South"

 

Really nice mix of perfectly on point vocal rhythm on a rock/rap mix beat in the couplets, and an all rock chorus
