    the marketing seems to hint a lot at this being close-ish to their top shelf offerings. i would happily pay $1k for a slightly stunted or ugly/utlitarian Solaris... so i'm intrigued to see where IO lands.

    I've never loved any BA IEMs. The closest I've come was the Noble 5, but there's always something a little weird about them that causes me fatigue. It's been a few years since I bothered buying one, though, so maybe they've improved.
