Not sure what your tastes are. I like being surprised by Tidal recommendations. Some recent ones I've enjoyed: Blood by Kelsey Lu, Beware of the Dogs by Stella Donnelly, Titanic Rising by Weyes Blood
@purr1n beat me to saying it, that's been one of my go-tos lately. Writing is actually amusing too.
That aside I've been listening to new stuff from Gorillaz (I kinda lost track after Demon Days) and Primus live performances. Both are surprisingly great.
Bands inspired by 60s psychedelia, a lot of them from Australia / NZ. King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Connan Moccasin, Pond, Tame Impala, MGMT's newer stuff.
Im the complete opposite, I feel like ive been drowning in awesome releases this year so far. But yeah, a clue on your tastes would probably be good. The new Lady Gaga is killer though
Listen to everything literally. Just tired of classical music and jazz , etc.....how uninspiring most music is, but gonna start with the recommendations above to find something new!.
City Zoo by G.E.M., Immortal by Lorna Shore, Music to be Murdered By by Eminem, Rise Radiant by Caligula's Horse, Palimpsest by Protest the Hero and Virus by Haken are my faves so far. those are all over the map haha pop, progressive metal, rap and Progressive Deathcore
If you don't mind going a bit "out there," Designer by Aldous Harding is a pretty amazing album. (The videos are incredible too.) She can be a bit of a hard nut to crack for some people, but I'm super impressed by her work
Oh wait see if you can make your way through all six hours of this. I bailed halfway through cuz it was stressing me out in a bad way, but they do a damned good job of easing you into a dark void: https://youtu.be/wJWksPWDKOc
