If it is the old 5 cylinder turbo, all-wheel drive you might not want to skip it. Audi and Volvo use to make sweet 5-cylinder engines, the straight-5s, can be very powerful with a bit of work.
Nope, this is a first generation model from year 2003, 1.8L I4 engine producing 180hp and unfortunately not an AWD model. Relatively low mileage though and price is tempting.
Maybe it was an Audi-Europe thing. In Europe you could specify the cars with different engines. You had to pay for it but there were options. It was not always through Audi but sometimes Audi-VW-specialists could do it. I mean Germany is almost next-door here.
