Mine are tied to weather fronts. If there is a big change in barometric pressure, I am basically crippled for a day. Feel like some old man sitting on a porch saying a storm is coming. Glad yours passed and you can enjoy life again.
I've been suffering with chronic migraines for awhile now after having an episode of bells palsy. You have my sympathy...I use a cefaly device every day which helps a lot with them, though what works for one person doesn't always work for another.
So, for @fraggler, it's barometric pressure. Anyone else discovered their migraine trigger? Unsure of this, but mine might be dehydration. As in, not really, I've had the real thing, but simply not taking quite enough fluid.
Long time back, a friend of mine kept a food diary for ages to discover that it was a combination of chocolate and orange that set hers off.
As of the triggers mine are really random. Stress or loud sounds and bright lights are the common offenders.
Other times are very random and usually they're the worst because I don't know the cause to cease or prevent it. Prevention is the key with migraine as I learned the hard way :D .
