    Not dirt cheap but totally woth it. It's the E1DA 9038SG3 if you're not using BA iems as it is quite sharp sounding dongle. Also avoid it with super sensitive stuff.

    I am considering the Apple. Worried that it might not have enough power to drive my budget Sony MH755, the LG does when I trick it into high power mode. I'll check out the Helm as well.

    FWIW Apple dongle works well enough with headphones. Looked up measurements and the voicing of the Sony might not be flattering to the dongle though.

    Apparently the Apple for USB C is volume deficient, as are the Google and Samsung? Probably looking for 90 or so mW @32 ohm.
