He's Korean. All Koreans and Taiwanese I know are good at video games. :-) Also, being familiar with FromSoftware games does help.

What level are we talking here?

I love this game so much. About 140 hours in but just beat the big guy on small horse. No stone left unturned.

Level 140+ and 80+ hours in the game. The thing is I’m playing on easy mode (i.e. playing as a mage).

I'm just using quality type build but base stats 40 Vig 35end 40 STR and 40dex plus boosts from talismans and stuff. I swing big things and use blood/frost

Started as a Wretch. Currently Vig 40, Mind 55, Intelligence 80, remaining points into Endurance.

Doesn't matter what souls game I go for claymore every game. Plus one more good weapon. Bloodhound fang +10 is pretty OP.

On my 5th playthrough of ER, first three runs I was doing sorcery build and got to like over level 200. Second character/4th run did a str/faith build and experimented with a ton of weapons. Latest character doing dex/arcane bleed build but using no summons/spirit ashes. Game feels a lot tougher now lol

Sorcery was getting boring, so I respeced to a STR/DEX quality build for my second playthrough.
