Beat Malenia on 5th try, and Fire Giant (no damage), Godskin Duo and Elden Beast on first try. ER is the easiest game from FromSoftware.

On my 5th playthrough of ER, first three runs I was doing sorcery build and got to like over level 200. Second character/4th run did a str/faith build and experimented with a ton of weapons. Latest character doing dex/arcane bleed build but using no summons/spirit ashes. Game feels a lot tougher now lol

@SoupRKnowva 90% of electrostats suck, but the CCC + SR-007MK2 blows everything out of the water. The sole exception is the SR1a, but that's an entirely different beast.

007mk2 with a good amp seems to be the best price/performance for e-stats (that I have tried thus far anyhow.) It comes very close to the 009S in terms of detail and technicalities, but is way less MSRP, especially used. A little bit EQ and the 007mk2 is great, I find it a bit thick sounding stock. 009S is more comfortable bit a little bit though.

HD800s are weird. Even when unmodded with the huge audible peak and general brightness, they somehow manage to sound more natural than the Clear and Utopia to me in the long run.

For me the HD800 still represents the best timbre of any headphone I've heard. When I owned the Utopia, there was two things that stood out. Perceived detail was greater because it shoves it in your face, and the beryllium driver (for me imo) fucked timbre hard. While tonally HD800 is extremely picky, with the right dac+amp it's amazing.

Not quite. Iirc the 3 has an additional output transformer after the DSHA circuit, while the 3F doesn’t (hence why only balanced out, it’s basically a direct feed balanced).

More importantly, the 3 also starts at $3800, and the 3F at $1000 cheaper seems to be good enough for many headphones, provided they’re balanced and you use a balanced cable.
