    I have to agree with @BillOhio. After owning 7 tube amps and 3 tube preamps the better the amp is built the better it will sound and better tubes make a significant difference. You need a very good 2A3. I have almost the entire family, let me know what you want and I'll give you a friend price.

  Ah, nice! That should be a good time. I would probably go with Jupiter caps for Utopia but not so much LCD4 or something like HD800.

    I'm talking about cap rolling, it can be more subtle than some tube changes but overall the Jupiter caps are better than stock on technicalities alone.
