This is a complicated measurement as velocity is not constant during detritus ejecticus. Do we account for initial acceleration time, or merely from the moment of final release? How do we account for the pinching maneuver? Do you wax for the smoothbore effect? Measurements are meaningless if we do not establish protocols and standards first.
