I have heard some dramatic differences with cables and in general the only wisdom to impart is that there's hardly any way to know what will sound good til you try it

I also heard the differences between interconnect cables and for a while it drove me mad. I thought I was crazy

Copper won’t ever be peaky. The only risk is that it is duller sounding than better copper cables.

But I like the approach that custom cans takes. It’s scientific not theory based. Low capacitance cables.

The really great thing about copper is that it conducts electricity.

(OK OK... I know. certain application like headphones and guitars actually can be cable-affected)

You're talking about a headphone cable right @caute ? Not interconnects?

@rhythmdevils Yep, a cheap silver-plated copper cable for my audezes, it’s just temp anyway, until I order a good occ cable, but I just wanted to know from experienced people what I was in for lol

A cable matter: actually prefer the stock occ cable single-ended vs the no name SPC balanced cable, a mistake of convenience—time to order a forza cable!
