@fraggler only hour south of Jax, but where the average age is people in their 60s. Still no good bagels @joch and no ramen/manga shops @Gazny. But if you are a retiree NY'er, tons of Italians and Pizza shops where everything is full of salt.
Palm Coast, right next to Flagler Beach (just South of St Aug). Taking care of my father who is in his 80s and can't take care of a house anymore. Not a big move, I'm only less than an hour away from South Jax (my soon to be old stomping grounds).
Fun Fact: The City is just another version of Staten Island (ewwwww). Funny seeing full of rich NY'ers giving you the finger from their six figure Range Rover.
Pretty much all of Florida that's not agricultural zoned is like this. Every county that has gated communities and pools. No matter how far north or south.
Takes me only 20 minutes west and I'm hitting rural FL that is poor and agricultural. Even the FL Agricultural Museum is near my new home. Of course the east part of the county is where most of the population/money lives near the beaches.
