That being said on the firmware front, moving from Snowmass to Sunlight the resolution gap was palpable. So likely sticking with the latest/greatest firmware offering for this wonderful DAC. Will be fun to roll other options though.

I think what is most interesting about this DAC is it is not trying to do the "sound like analog" thing. It is its own thing, which is just being a spectacular-sounding source. No digititus, no faux analog...just wonderfully articulated music
