Reporting your own post is what I do.

There is a delete button, at the bottom of the post.

--- It may be something that appears with seniority
--- It might not be possible to delete a thread-starting post

There's an edit button there too. You can replace your text with "sorry, wrong thread" ...and ask the mods to delete it.

That's just what I tried (the Coaxial Isolation thread).
I think it should move to the general advice thread, maybe.

Ah ha. Well, I joined in on that one!

I'd be very surprised if we haven't already got threads on earthing and its problems. Probably both of us should have searched!

Moved to the general advice threads. Another way to get us to see it is by PM or tag one of us in the thread. But yes, reporting your own post does work as well.
