Likely a reference to SBAF's predecessor, Changstar. That place had a bit of a rougher vibe to it (I peeped it ages ago but got intimidated from joining, hah) and there was a lot of piratey imagery involved. Fair lot of that carried over to SBAF if you look at some of the earlier posts on here and the emojis.
