best study (tutorial learning) DAC amp

What's the best for speed watching tutorials?


We should get a sense of price and value. If you recommend >1, rank them best to worst and give them points and ideally a price.




example: 10 model a $100, 8 model b $1

I have FX Audio DAC-X6.

 

Clearly the O2 combo (heard it's supposed to be transparent) connected to a Susvara, while listening to the tutorial at 2x speed over Youtube. For additional gains, download the video and speed it up even further. The planar driver will keep up with it.

 

I prefer a Micromega MyDAC when I'm doing competitive speed listening to Bach cello suites. I can't say what numeric points I'd give the MyDAC compared to something else stellar, like the AudioGD S-19 DAC (hint, they're really similar!), but I did manage to score a -48.7 on the David Phiisting/Anuhl Amirbits competitive scale of scalar intensive non-scalar scales at a local anti-audiophile meetup, when testing on 1.2kHz high-pass filtered 48kbps MP3s of Diana Krall, using the MyDAC. It was such a great experience I barely remember it!

 

1st take the slow tutorial on how to think about, prepare and phrase a question, that might speed things up...

 

It sounds like you already have appropriate equipment, David! I don't think a different DAC/AMP will help you with tutorials.
