As one of her last assignments during the school year, my daughter put country music as one of the things that she hated in a PowerPoint slide. I was like: "No, you can't do that, especially here!"

Anyway, I decided to go on a "country" binge and will not stop until I've seared country into her head.

I love Townes. He sings real pain and it shows in his music. Your post inspired me to put this on. I lucked into this original 1969 Poppy Records pressing years ago and it's the only OG one of his I have. Too bad he drank himself to death but damn what a songwriter.
