Never though this day would come but then again I never thought the Stellaris would be so much better.
My most babied amp, no scratches marks or dings. About two years old, payed over 3K £ all in.
I actually lost one of the stock 2A3 tubes so I'll have to compensate. The following tubes will be included for your tube rolling pleasure.
    EML 2A3 Solid plate
Sylvania 2A3 S plate fishing pole NOS
    VT244 Ken Rad
    VT244 National Union
    VT244 Sylvania
    6N1P-EV
    6N1P single wire
    6N1P novosibirsk
    6BQ7A mazda
    6BQ7AGB sylvania(my favourite 6BQ7A)

Price is 2.3K£ and I really want someone from the UK so I can deliver it myself.

Optionally my glued base AVVT for 450£ - only sold with the amp.

Friends and contributors for a week then it goes on HF.

If I were to get a headamp I'd look at this one. It's got such a beautiful finish (I love that shiny automotive paint look) this is a piece of art! Good luck with the sale.

I am pretty sure you won't need "luck" to sell this since they rarely appear in EUR (230v).
Unfortunately the investment wouldn't be possible at the moment so i wouldn't even have the chance to meet your fingering best buddies but i am sure it will sell fast, it's an amazing piece of gear.

I don't need to sell it but I haven't even fired it up since the Stellaris arrived. And with the Teton at about even on sound quality but with OTL flavor and the Peak/Volcano for daily duties I'll just end up storing it. A good home is needed.

I can definitely recommend the Stratus, buy it someone ASAP! :) I love how versatile the amp is - powerful, clean, quiet, with broad range of outputs (different gain, impedances, connector types) and natural timbre. The versatility is something that makes it special compared to many other tube amps.

You would be surprised how hard 230V amps sell in the EU. It took weeks for all my big amps to sell such as GSX-MK2,WA5-LE,Moon 600i,Liquid glass etc. and all of them fairly priced. I'm not expecting a quick sell but at least you guys should have first dibs.

Never thought about it like that because i only sold low/medium-tier amps (from 50 to 500) so i had no idea but i do understand that either we can be a little more conservative regarding paying 1000+ for an amp or simply have lower incomes than our american friends here. I am just guessing regarding this particular forum since everything is relative.

My crimson was my fav amp when i tried and i knew i wanted one and took me years to get it but usually i am uncomfortable paying more than 1000 euros for anything, at least up front. This DNA could be an exception, like my Crimson was but even that one i had to pay in 3 installments (thanks to a very understanding member here). I already had offers for it without even posting anything that i want to sell it.

That said if i was financially capable of giving so much money up front i would, i have no doubt. Hopefully someone with deeper pockets than me will take this as an opportunity. There are those amps a person gets unsure to buy but this one shouldn't be second guessed and hope it finds a good home.

I first contacted Sorrodje regarding his 230V version of Stratus like 10 minutes after he posted the classified here, the deal was sealed the same day. Guess he was just lucky! :) Also already got some offers for Stratus even though I dont plan selling it, funny.

Even though I cannot buy another Stratus, at least bought some selected Stratus tubes, thanks a lot m17xr2b!

Could be that those U.S. brands aren't well known in Europe?

For some people, maybe the cost/turnaround time for servicing is also an issue if it needs to return to base?

The irony here is that once upon a time, I actually really wanted a Stratus- I even asked @Donald North how much one would cost- and he replied that he'd stopped making those now, and gave me details of the Stellaris. That was just too much amp for me at the time, and I ran away screaming (politely, I hope). It's a lovely amp, I hope that whoever ends up with it appreciates what he has. GLWS!

I think there is a misunderstanding - I still build the Stratus and am working on one now for a customer.

There absolutely is, I am a generation out, it was Sonnet and Stratus. I was talking nonsense, sorry.

(..and let this nonsense be a bump for this thread.)

If your Stratus had been 115V and this side of the pond I would have given it serious consideration.
