FS: Apex Glacier

Dropping down to just a small home rig and a single travel headphone for now - need to deal with some extra Christmas expenses. All prices include CONUS shipping but not fees.

Apex Glacier - $XXX (OFF THE MARKET, SOUNDS REALLY GREAT WITH BILL-P HD800 mods) Thought I'd post this here before I put it up on Head-Fi. Phenomenal slim profile portable amplifier with great battery life and a shitload of power. Used, but in great shape (posting a few photos).

 

I'm interested in the qp1r. How is the UI?

 

Snappy. It uses a custom linux build. No lag at all and it's pretty intuitive. Having the four capacitive buttons in the corners around the wheel really makes it easy to navigate.

My current setup for the moment is:

Gamma2 > Liquid Carbon > custom Paradox Slants (at my desk) // Modded HD800 (when it arrives, mail snafu that should be resolved soon)

I'll also have my Geek Out V2+ when it arrives to drive the HD800 & Slants on the go. And my M-80 & Sennheiser Amperior for general walkaround smartphone listening.

I do plan on trying out a Bifrost Multibit though after the new year, and when I get more desk time I'll likely buy a new Gungnir Multibit again.

 

Yeah, your HD800 will arrive alright. I'm on top of the mail snafu! It must be resolved!

On that note... I was about to ask why you want to push the PM-3 away, but yeah... custom Paradox Slants. Hahaha

No public apology needed You can't control the post office. No one can control the post office!! I just looked at the graphs Marv put up and those things are definitely going to be worth the wait.

This pair of PM-3's are really good. If I didn't want to pick up extra presents for the wife, I wouldn't be parting with them at all. (Buying advance purchase tickets to "Hamilton" for the Chicago leg of the tour. Between that and her Kayak, her Christmas should be covered.)

My girlfriend's dog ate my JH-13s last night...those pm-3s look awful tempting as a portable replacement since I can't afford to buy new totl ciems
