Finally getting around to listing some items for sale that are just not getting enough use. I have tried to price everything aggressively for fast sales!

Eddie Current Black Widow 2 #26

Purchased from @kirayamato in 2017. Like other BW2s, this model does have occasional loss of sound in the left channel. Sound returns after disconnecting and reconnecting the RCA plug.

Purchased new as B Stock from Schiit in 2018. I have never understood why this was listed as B Stock since it appears cosmetically perfect to my eyes. Again, a rare example of this model in black.

Audio Zenith PMx2 v2

Purchased new from @Audio Zenith in 2018. One of the last pairs Alex made, and in Alex’s words, “In fact, with your set I was able to achieve the absolute lowest distortion out of all the PMx2s ever made.”

This V2 set has leather pads and silver grilles, as well original case and cables. Used for less than 10 hours.

Been looking at integrated amps to replace an Onkyo AVR that is almost 15 years old. Raggy looks to fit the bill. You have PM.

 

Didn't want to come in here, but this is incorrect. My Black Widow 2 has not exhibited any of this behavior. I don't want newer people reading about this and coming to the conclusion that this is normal behavior for the amp. It isn't by any stretch.

 

Out of an abundance of caution and in an effort to show total transparency, I am disclosing this operating condition of my particular amp. I have heard in previous posts by a few Friends on SBAF that similar conditions have occurred with other BW2s due to the faulty boards that were shipped to EC.

I did not mean to imply that all BW2s have this challenge. However, I know that mine is not alone in suffering from intermittent loss of sound in one channel.

I will certainly entertain offers below my listed price for this amp.

 

Uhm, I’m confused but did I mess up something why did I get 2 dislikes? I know I’m new here but I’ve been lurking for a while and even joined through Patreon. If someone could tell me what I did wrong that would be greatly appreciated. (English isn’t my first language and I tend to mess up some things, is this one of those times?)

 

Most people here don't like Randos jumping on FS ads, though with the new Patreon subscriptions, you are well within your rights to do so. Also, don't worry about dislikes. Use them as a chance for feedback like you just did.

 

First of all i am sorry @Carlos CPA for this OT but i feel that he's question is important for future situations. Also a shame i didn't get those HPs but glad the sale went/goes well. Great gear at great prices is always appreciated and even more from a trustworthy member.


Now a slight OT.

Although i agree with what @fraggler said, my dislike, was not an evaluation of character, in particular, but was basically because "PM" just adds noise and there's no real purpose behind it. If you want to interact with the seller, there are tools to talk with him directly without announcing it to the world. He, i am sure, got high interest in several items, so just think what would happen here if 100 would suddenly reply "PM".

Some people came to complement the seller, the prices, the gear and a "PM" contributes only to give extra "lines" with no real structure to it. I know in many forums, like head-fi and similar, people use "PM" as a way to announce their interest. Some do it to "reserve" the item (in some kinda weird way), some do it because they fingers twitch and some because they want to dissuade other potential interested buyers, in a way of "well he sent him a PM before me so i won't even bother". Whatever the reason is, one can just interact directly with the seller as me, and many others, did.

Normally i would answer your question in PM (without announcing it first ) but this may shine a light for others. Again this is not an evaluation of character but a feedback to that reply.

Basically piggybacking from @Walderstorn 's post, commenting "PM" first doesn't reserve your spot for the item you are interested in, just PM the seller directly, and silently

Also don't take the dislikes to heart, it's mainly playful hazing from the community. I think Marv said something along the lines of, "if you haven't received a dislike, you're not doing SBAF right."
