    Does it have to be a Kindle? I have a good condition OG Nook that you can have for free. You'd have to use something like Calibre to put epubs or whatever on it.

    That is a very kind offer but I am looking to stay in the Bezos' ecosystem :). I have a 13.3 inch eBook tablet which works with the Kindle App, and am looking for a smaller one to complement it!
