Voted for ATH-R70x. I actually could have provided measurements on that one over the summer, but I was a lazy ass.

Subjectively, it sounded very even (compared to my HD600), with no peaks, no troughs, and amazingly nothing bad. Sounded essentially like an open version of the M50 but without as much bass wooliness (or maybe it was just rolled off?) or treble issues. My ears tell me that one is actually kinda neutral and may be one of AT's best open headphones yet.

Oops, and after writing that, I found this FR measurement for it:
    http://www.hometheater.co.il/article06541.html

Would love for you to grab it and compare it to HD650, Marv. I think it has potential... at least as a non-offensive offering for those who can't be arsed to mod and match a system for HD600/650.

Also voted for Dharma, because I liked what I heard, except for the slight bass slowness that sounded weird with some songs.

Last vote went to Audeze EL-8 open because I don't think its FR was that bad (still very south of neutral), but distortion and other figures may be a different matter altogether.

The Philips SHL5305TL is the CitiScape Fixie ;)
Suggested it because it's probably the best on ear under 80 bucks that I ever used...but I don't trust myself that much, so would like another toughs on it.

Also voted for the T1 and the EL8 because I'm curious

I have an Audio Technica MSR7 that I could loan out to be measured, I have a friend who wants to review it first and then it'll be free

The R70x had a good tone and response, but I think it might have some sort of distortion problem. Maybe it's just a weird spot somewhere in the response or ringing. It just didn't sound nearly as refined as the HD600/650. Would still be curious to try it and get some numbers on it to be sure.

I'd really like to see the Noontec Zoro II HD measured. I heard the original Zoro and it sounded very good in some respects, but the comfort wasn't perfect and they were a little dull sounding (they measured with an upper-mid hole) The new ones measure better, Tyll says they feel better, and Bob Katz said he thought they're possibly the best headphones under $300.

Its innerfidelity measurements actually look a lot like the Paradox headphones, if you remove the Paradox's earpad bounce and 10 kHz peak:

I want measurements of the JVC HP-DX1000. Now that I've sold my soul and have almost no gear, I have enough to reacquire them. I already placed the order for them, so I think they'll be here next week.

If you (@Purrin) or @ultrabike want to measure them, let me know. ultrabike would be more convenient since we live one town away from each other.

should add the hifiman edition x to this. I have a good feeling about these for some reason. I got a little hard when I saw the announcement which is always a good sign...

R70x on my head, but I'm drunk as f**k coming back from a wedding rehearsal and about to be picked up again to go out with the groom after changing. Quick thoughts aren't fair because I haven't enough time with them, but no sign of grain. Overall reminds me of a grown up Ad900, the true successor that should have been instead of the Ad1000 and Ad2000, but damn them Ad2000 are special.

Edit: PS OJ knows this already but I'm a huge Audio Technica fanboy, so my vision isn't as clear as others in regards to their products, except the M50. I don't like them one bit.

I voted for the Pioneer, Philips and Sennheiser.

I hope Pioneer can make a knock-out headphone again. Their old headphones had the potential. Ask Takato and Firev1.

The Sennheiser HD250 II Linear is the one headphone I will buy again when I have the money. Even if you gave me an HD800, I would take the HD250 II Linear because it made me smile immediately. Rabbit/Ian from RG still has one so if you can measure the headphone in the UK you are in already. That headphone and Sphongle, f**k yeah! No competition.

    @Purrin @ultrabike

If one of you wants to measure/review the Rhapsodio RD3, I have them right now for a review. Samy asked if I wanted to send them to anyone else to review, I just need to get the thumbs up from him before I send them over to you (they'll have to go back to Hong Kong at some point, FYI).

Didn't you guys say the pricing on these were $175? If so, I'd give em a spin.

    Two words: f**k Pioneer.

Sure they can put any price tag on their market offering but this even trumps the HD800 too much. Pioneer does not have the company image to get away with this like Stax. Even if I would have the money, I would be extremely critical because the opportunity cost is very high. I am not crazy enough any more to gamble like this.

    Buy them Hands!!
I wonder if they are tuned so good that MrSpeakers/ZMF might have to stop selling their mods... Although I guess Dan already stopped!?

I would have to do a lengthy, at-home comparison of various T50RP mods to say for sure where the T50RP Mk3 sits. But at the show, and taking into account those conditions (loud, not my own gear, short listening, no-A/B, but was able to use my own music), my crystal ball says that the mod community for this headphone never would have started if the Mk2 sounded like this.
