From what i've read the foam size and density is part of what made the TH-X00 an improvement over the Denon cans. This might be one where picking CeeTee's brain might help if finding a set of actual MD foams proves impossibru.

I bought a replacement set of foams (dampeners) for my TH900 from Full Compass earlier this year. The part listing has them shared between the two TH900 models and the THX00. Anecdotally, they seem the same as the ones in my OG mahogany set from Massdrop.

I’m not sure if they ship internationally, but I’d be happy to send them at cost if you can’t source them elsewhere. Shipping abroad from the US tends to be pretty expensive, though.

Just an update for anyone in my neck of the woods who might be in a similar spot:

Since FullCompass appears to be out of stock for the immediate future (and charges more for the part), the foam damping rings (Fostex part # 1416449811) is available for USD 7.00/ea plus shipping via ProAktiv based in Singapore: https://www.pi-pl.co/brands. Likely to be significantly more affordable shipping within SE Asia to boot.
