    My dude. I'm hoping once she gets the pop out of her system she will return to her roots. I liked a lot of the songs on Red (not the three pop producer ones) but the whole thing is compressed digititus (and yes, I have listened to the vinyl...poor noisy major label pressing, not as compressed but still not good). The Ryan Adams 1989 cover album shows how good the material is beneath the current bummer pop production.

    On headphones with emphasized 1-3kHz, it can get somewhat unbearable. The recordings on CD have good plankton, but the mastering could have been better.

    This is why marginal or imperfect recordings are good for evaluating systems.
