I loved that case when I had tf10's (hated the tf10's though). The case that came stock with my uerm is the spiritual successor: http://pro.ultimateears.com/products/custom-accessories/small-carrying-case

It ain't cheap but I like much better then the pelicans I got with prior ciem. Sturdy, seals well, and still easy to open.

I use a Pelican 1060 for all my audio stuff, cowon plenue d as well as my ciems. The 1060 size is perfect for throwing everything in without too much loose space and comes with a carabiner so pretty damn useful.

Bought this based off this rec and agree, this is the best by far. I have a large tackle box to organize IEMs, tips, accessories, and cases and this one stands out for IEMs alone.

I also started using a sterilite small divided case I bought for a couple of bucks at target with some creatology lining the inside to hold my ZX2 and Andromeda as a nice slim little hard case. It's actually quite perfect for this.

I found another case for the Andromeda that's quite perfect for that one IEM, but I'll start a new thread for that one.

I'm definitely curious to see your Andromeda case because I kind of hate the one it came with and it doesn't fit quite right in the AT case mentioned above.

I've just ordered the ATH case because of the untangling potential.
I'll report when it gets here.

I may be in the minority, but I don't like the accordion sides of the CA case - they significantly reduce inner volume and squish stuff. I;m gentle with gear so my Andromedas live in my 'crappy' Shure SE215 case :).

Came here because the Otterbox style case that came with my Westones just bit the dust. All of the plastic along the metal hinge cracked and broke. Bummer. I'm def going to try the Hpp300 Audio Technica case from EBay.

Old thread but still relevant. Most of these cases seem too small and will force the cable to coil too tightly. Isn’t that a worry for any of you?

Being a professional photographer makes me paranoid about cables because of how many photographers have electrocuted themselves to death from broken strobe cables. The “coil loosely following the natural curve of the cable” technique is drilled into me. I never coil my iem’s around my hand, I create loose coils so it’s not forced.

I just bought the etty case.
And also found this one on eBay. Super cheap And seems durable and spacious. Only 7.99 zipper will probably break in two days. But it looks robust.

Shure’s case is my favorite. I have about 20 of them, using them for all of my IEMs. They’re not too big & bulky, though still pretty sturdy, and they’re large enough to hold any IEM I’ve tried. And at less the $10, they’re inexpensive. I also tend to use 3 inch Nite Ize Gear Ties to keep the cables neatly coiled.

That case looks awesome. Interestingly it’s the exact same dimensions as the one I got on eBay except a bit slimmer (which is fine) and I prefer the oval shape.

This is what I use. Less than $10 from Amazon. See GPS cases. That's a iBasso DX 220 DAP . 1544BC7E-8CA4-4A4F-A33D-88958ED86436_1_201_a.jpeg

I personally use a Pelican Case 1040, it is about $15 on Amazon and can't really ask for more in my opinion. I also really like the original Campfire cases and they are on sale atm for about $30.

I got the eBay case in the mail and it’s awesome. Better zipper than the edc3 case and campfire audio case. The case itself is really sturdy and stiff. I think you could sit on it. Most sturdy and secure case I can imagine short of a pelican case. And big enough for any iem and a loose cable coil with no kinks. Highly recommended.

    I got 3 of them.
